Elmwood Girls State 2024

Macy Howard of Elmwood, daughter of Christopher and Sara Howard of Elmwood and granddaughter of Bob and Denise Fischer of Elmwood, has been selected to attend the American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State starting June 2 - 8 on the campus at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

Macy is a junior at Elmwood-Murdock High School and will have the chance to be involved in and study local, county and state government. Macy will have the opportunity to meet several other young women from across the state of Nebraska while being at Girls State.

Please take a moment when you see Macy and tell her Congratulations on her achievement and this honor. The ladies of the Auxiliary would like to wish Macy much success while she learns more about our government and leadership. Thank You! Elmwood Legion Auxiliary #247
