There was a motion to leave the Ordinance as written but was tabled until the following meeting due to members unsure about quorum votes. Hanna Petersen was also in attendance to see the outcome of the meeting for this subject to support the residents in favor of changing this Ordinance. After discussion motion was again made by Towle and then seconded by Wilson, to leave the Ordinance as written which allows chickens if it is not within 100ft of any dwelling. The Board decided there was a quorum and all members in attendance voted. Wilson, Towle voted in favor of the motion. Chesnut voting against the motion. Chairman Nuss did not vote due to there not being a tie. Hanna Peterson is still interested in supporting this subject and will look into handing out petitions to get residents’ signatures in support of changing the Ordinance after the waiting period and permission from the Board to do so.

The water tower project of internal inspection and ladder gate installation was revisited. The Board will accept the bid from Linda Kurtz and Jake Wilson motioned the ladder gate be installed yet this fall and inspection/cleanout be done in the spring of 2024. Towle second this motion and it passed unanimously all voting in favor of.

Truck Traffic signs were put up on Wyoming street. This update by Wilson also opened discussion for including No thru truck traffic signs on Colorado and RailroadAve. And Iowa and Railroad Ave. The Board approved purchasing two more signs for these locations. Diggers hotline will be notified.

There, being no further business, motion was made by Wilson and second by Chesnut that the meeting close and the next regular meeting will reconvene on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Murdock Village Hall and it carried unanimously by RCV.
