Local Teen Wins at the State Poultry Show

Charles Cawley an 8th grader at Elmwood/ Murdock High School competed in the Nebraska State Poultry Association Show on November 20, 2021, at the Lancaster Event Center. This was his first time competing.

He brought 2 chickens and 2 turkeys. He won 2nd place in Intermediate Poultry Showmanship.

He exhibited the overall champion turkey as well. He has shown poultry for 4 years at the Cass County Fair.

The Living Nativity, hosted at Mark and Sondra Buell's homestead, is coming up soon. See the attached flyer for details. Livingnativity 2021

Glimpse into Murdock History
