Merry Christmas Murdock
I don't know which Christmas light display is my favorite. The simple Grinch display did make me laugh though. So I do have to vote for the Grinch.
The Stroy molded Christmas display is well worth sitting and taking in every piece of vintage memory.
But it's more than just one yard with Christmas lights. It's the effort others make to the Holidays special for others.
Living Nativity Local Tradition
What a wonderful podcast and narration of the Christmas Story. It was a drive-through experience, but actually a more reflective opportunity to sit in your car, by yourself to sit and pray, reflect and remember the real reason for the season.
It takes about 30 minutes to go through 20 stations of narration. You can listen to it here on their website.
Even rabbits can teach us how to remain still, listen.
It was so appropriate this year to be outside and reminded of the "Bethelem Star" If anyone got a photo of the planets Jupiter and Saturn convergence
I love the story of the donkeys. They carried Mary to Bethelem, but also carried Jesus on Palm Sunday. Note the cross on their back?
The gates are open this week for you to drive through. You can even visit the 3BHomestead website on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Sunday Divine Services (with social distancing)
1. We offer two divine services: 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
2. The 10:30 divine service is live-streamed every Sunday via Robin Kuhlman's Facebook Page.
3. We still practice social distancing in the divine services. Because there is plenty of room at each service there is no need to receive a seating assignment from Pastor Kuhlman. When you arrive, please sit in the designated pews and practice social distancing. Thanks.
Blessings,
Pastor Kuhlman
"Jesus is Immanuel. God with us. He’s taken up everything that’s gone wrong with us – our sin, our damnation, our diseases, the hurt we inflict on each other, our pain, our suffering, our abandonment. He has taken it all into His own humanity and reconciled it all to God – in the womb of Mary, in the manger, on the Good Friday cross, at the right hand of God. Because of Him God and the world are reconciled. God and you are reconciled. This is God’s Word. This is God’s promise. Given to you not by an archangel but by this lowly Wyoming redneck pastor, sent by God to be His messenger to preach it to you. So that you will always live by faith."
Have a happy Christmas!
In the Name of Jesus.

Glimpse into Murdock History
Continuing with our new series to the weekly news.
During the 1950s Pastor Heim would document his home visits with parishioners by taking a photo. These are no ordinary photos, but COLOR photographs. In the 1950s this was almost unheard of then. It was cutting edge "technology". Thank you to Ramona Oehlerking for the video/images.
Merry Christmas from the Murdock family. I don't know if this was taken near Christmas, but everyone is in red so it looked very Christmasey. Check out the television in the background. How technology has changed.
