Welcome to Murdock
The EM Cheer Squad Annual Plant Sale is still happening!
It's just going to look a little different this year than in previous years.
Unfortunately, due to the current Directed Health Initiative, we can only offer pre-order sales and will not have any plants available to purchase during the pick-up times.
Sales started on April 8th and will go through April 24th.
The Cheer Squad will have curbside pickup on the following dates and times at the garage next to the Chiro Office in Elmwood:
Thur, April 30 5:30p-8:00 pm
Fri, May 1st 5:30-8:00 pm
Sat, May 2nd 9a-12p (if needed)
You will simply pull up, we will get your name, load your order into your car and you will be on your way!
If these dates and times do not work for you, please contact Casey for other arrangements.
Orders & payment can go to any member of the Spirit Squad or Coach Casey Clements.
Checks can be made out to EM Spirit Squad or you can Venmo your payment to @Casey-Clements-8.
Payment is due at the time of the order.
In the past week, people have volunteered to shop for those who need to stay at home due to age or are immune suppressed. Many restaurant businesses are adapting and changing their business model to deliver or offer curbside service. In response, customers are going out of their way to support their efforts. In fact, last Friday The Quonset was sold out of the Fish Special when I called.
After this, when the travel restrictions are lifted we will that more grateful every time we eat at a local restaurant, attend communion

Uncovered Murdock History
Thank you to John Guehlstorff for the Murdock historical and lifestyle photographs.
Ed, the twins, and others. That is all the description I have of this picture. Does anyone know who the twins names? Seems they were all just sitting in the grass, not a picnic or anything. Just sitting.
John's Grandpa (Ed) was an avid photographer. He would take photos of any event that went on around Murdock. From family reunions to everyday happenings. When he passed his grandson (John E Guelstorff III) inherited his camera along with his photo processing equipment and all of his negatives. Recently he found some undeveloped negatives of Murdock
Stay tuned in future weeks for more peeks into Murdock history

Take It Or Leave It Pantry
You may have forgotten about the Elmwood Take-it-or-Leave food pantry, but it is even more important than ever. Many in our community are going to have children at home who have depended on school lunches and the BackPack program for weekend supplemental nutrition.
The free pantry is here to serve our community. It is for neighbors helping neighbors.
