Bulldogs Restaurant - WInter Hours
We are so lucky to still have a restaurant/pub/bar in Murdock. So many small towns in Nebraska do not have a place to eat out. Why is this important?

Aside from the fact you are supporting a local business, their family and local jobs. You are making sure a local business remains in business and you will have a place to eat in the future.
Think of all the reasons people eat out.
- Busy family going to their kid's ball game. No time to make dinner
- Both parents work and too tired to make dinner,
- Company coming into town and the house and you haven't gone grocery shopping.
- A place to gather with friends.
- The men are hunting, girls night out.
- Girls are on a "day trip" guys night out.
- The food is delicious, company is great.
- So how do we make sure to keep
Make sure to note the revised winter hours.

Living Nativity Returns to Cass County
This living nativity is the only one in the state of Nebraska. It is quickly becoming an annual tradition with local families.
Stop by on the following dates. Bring a friend and consider bringing your local church youth group. This would not be possible without the volunteers of local residents and 4-H clubs who donate their time and several animals for the various nativity scenes.

The Starry Knight parade happens at night. So how do you see the entries? Lights? Lights strung around tires, on floats. but lights with no extension cords. Battery-powered lights. Think about having an entry this year. Gather your groups, organization, or business and come up with something fun and imaginative.
The Holiday Extravaganza Schedule is not here!! Make your plans, create a strategy of how you can participate in everything and not miss out.

Make sure to print off this coloring page and turn it into the Elmwood Convenience store. Prizes will be given for various age groups. There is even an ADULT category. So break out your colored pencils or pens and show off your artistic talent.

2019 HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA - Saturday, November 30 - the theme for this year's Holiday Extravaganza and Starry Knight Parade - "I Remember."
Veterans G.A.R. Hall Veterans Museum
The G.A.R. Hall and Veterans Museum would like to include a display of "I Remember" stories from veterans and/or their families at the museum.
Submit special memories - maybe it was your first Christmas away from family, maybe it was spent in basic training, deployed, in the jungles of Vietnam, on the desert of Afghanistan, on a ship in the middle of the ocean, etc.
For the families, maybe it was a special phone call from a far-away service member.
"I Remember" stories can be submitted to
