Murdock Playground WILL Be a Reality

The Murdock park committee is moving forward. The land has been secured and now we need your help to make it happen.

Send this onto anyone you can think of who lived, lives, or visits Murdock.
We NEED your help!

In the museum, is the scoreboard from the old-old gym. This was in the basement of the old brick school. Kids would sit with it in a crows nest and the game officials would put up their fingers to indicate how much time was left. The kids would manually change the Time and score.
Does anyone remember this? Were you the one changing the score?
Send me your story at
When is the museum open?
Saturday mornings or by appointment. This would be a great school trip or homeschool outing. Spread the word to your local organizations. It's a great little museum with a lot to see.
Where is it?
Across from the bank, the white building on the corner.
Every week I will have a photo from the museum, did you know we had an active railroad going through town, a general store, a barber and much more?

This week our Student of the Week Winner is Sydney Anderson. She is a senior at Elmwood Murdock High School. Her activities include Volleyball, Basketball, Track, FBLA, One Act Play, Student Council and Band. She is the daughter of Ryan and Kelly Anderson.
She was nominated for these reasons:
- She always has a smile on her face
- She is a model student both academically and socially
- She is very active outside of her school work
- She always offers you a friendly hello
Sydney, Ryan, and Kelly are invited to stop by (we are located under the water tower in Louisville), call (402.234.3333) or email (
