Elmwood-Murdock Dominates Cystic Fibrosis and Multiple Sclerosis!!
The Elementary Student Council is partnering with the High School Student Council to do our very first joint fundraiser. The money we raise will be split between the UNMC Multiple Sclerosis Center and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Both of these organizations are near and dear to the hearts of our students and our community members.
In order to raise money, we are doing a change drive and asking all students to bring in any spare change they can. In exchange for the generous donations, our teachers have agreed to some pretty fun and outrageous stunts during an assembly on February 17.
- $25- Mrs. Cook will sport a mustache for a day
- $200-Mrs. Towle and Mrs. Oliva will have a “Fancy Nancy” kind of day
- $400- Mrs. Hogue will get an “Averi Make-Over”
- $500- Mr. Friedrich will shave his mustache
- $550- Mr. B/Mrs. B will play Bean-Boozled
- $600- Ms. Duntz and Mrs. Drueke will be Duct taped to the wall by their students

Rob Clements From Elmwood to Replace Senator Kintner
It was a surprise to most everyone in the area, and even the Clements family, as Rob did not submit his application to replace Senator Kintner.
Robert Clements was nominated by his peers who recognized his financial expertise and financial responsibility.

As Governor Rickets stated about Rob "He's a numbers guy" and this is what the state needs now.
Who else would be better for the job than someone with a family history of successfully running a four generation bank.
As many in the family have stated the "dust is still settling" and Rob is busy this week in Lincoln. But there will be an interview in the next week.
For now, you can read and watch video from the various news articles reporting the announcement and swearing in ceremony.
