I'm sure most everyone has heard about the close call last week out on the curve west of Murdock.  But in case you haven't there was an incident where three Elmwood Murdock high school student drivers were involved in an accident.  It doesn't matter who was at fault but what matters is that this is another wake up call for our kids and for us to remember what is important.  We were lucky this time and the kids are safe.  Small wonder when only 1 out of the five kids in the cars had seatbelts on.  Another reminder...buckle up!  And that is not just a reminder for the kids...often the adults need a reminder, too.  So let's buckle up, drive carefully, be alert, look out for the other drivers, cherish each other, hug our kids, and most of all, thank God for our blessings every day.
