DATE CHANGED FOR SPAGHETTI FEED: APRIL 18th

We are raffling off two tables made by A+ Tile Company. The tables are on display at CD's Express. Anyone who would like to buy a raffle ticket in advance, they are available at CD's in Elmwood or you can contact David Todd at 402-310-7512. The tickets we sell in advance will help us buy the supplies for the fundraiser so thank you for those people who do buy them in advance, it is appreciated.

April 16 - Spring Carnival from 5:30-8:00 p.m.

SUMMER KNIGHTS

A survey regarding the Summer Knights childcare was sent home last week. Surveys need to be returned by April 9, 2010. We will need a commitment from at least 15 to 20 students to even consider offering the program again. A final decision regarding this program will be made by April 12, 2010. Contact Principal, Bruce Friedrich, with questions.

BALL FIELD CLEAN-UP

The Baseball/Softball Clean-up Day for the Elmwood and Murdock ball fields scheduled for March 27 has been postponed, due to weather, to Saturday, April 10, beginning @ 9:00 a.m.

JUNIOR VET CAMP

Does your child love animals? Kids completing grades 2-4 will spend the week learning about animals and their care at Junior Vet Camp sponsored by Oxbow Animal Health. Session 2: Elmwood-Murdock High School, June 7-10, 2010 from 8:30-1:00pm.

SPRING CARNIVAL

We are again auctioning theme baskets for each classroom for Silent Auction. K-Cookie Lovers, 1st -Family Games/Books 2nd – Birthday 3rd-Gardening 4th – Summer Fun/Barbeque, 5th – Coffee, 6th – Family Snow Day. The Spring Carnival is scheduled for April 16, 2010.

SPRING CARNIVAL PACKETS

The Spring Carnival Packets are going home last week. The packets include Advance Ticket Order Forms, a listing of the raffle prizes, sheets of Raffle Tickets, and a return envelope.

USBORNE BOOK FAIR

We will have an Usborne Book representative at the Spring Carnival on April 16. They will have both fiction and non-fiction books on display in the library. The library will receive free books from the sale of books at the book fair. Everyone is welcome to stop by and look at the books.

For you students who signed up for the ACT it is on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the High School. See you there!

ACTIVITIES BANQUET: Friday, April 30, 6:30 p.m. Murdock Old Gym. Reservations forms have been mailed to all families. If you did not receive a reservation form, please contact the school. Please return reservation form and payment to the school by Friday, April 16.

BOOSTER CLUB MEETING: Monday, April 19th, 7:00 p.m. Election of officers for 2010-11. We'll also be working on decorations for the Activities Banquet. Please plan to join us as we wrap up this year and make plans for next!
