- The kitchen is open Monday-Thursday from 11am-10pm.
- The kitchen is open Friday from 11am-11pm. But they are open till 1am.
- The kitchen is open Saturday from 7am-11pm. But they are open till 1am.
- The kitchen is open Sunday from Noon-10pm.

Delivery
- Monday-Saturday orders need to be in by 11am and it will be delivered between 11:30am-12:30pm. Or orders in by 5pm and it will be delivered between 5:30pm-6:30.

- $10 minimun order
- $2 charge for Murdock Address deliveries. $3 charge Elmwood Address deliveries.

Just a reminder about changes in school calendar
Just a reminder that we have made the following changes in the school calendar so that we may make up snow days and prepare for possibility of using more snow days during the rest of the school year.

Beginning January 25th, 2010 the Elmwood-Murdock will begin 5 minutes earlier (Elementary 8:15am; High School 8:05am) and extend 10 minutes longer (Elementary 3:30pm; High School 3:40pm).

There will be no early dismissals on January 18, February 15, and April 14th, 2010. These will be full school days.

There will be no Spring Break on March 5, and March 12, 2010.
Preschool and Kindergarten News for 2010-2011
Surveys for attending the Elmwood-Murdock preschool and kindergarten for the next school year have been sent to all known eligible student in the district. Please contact the school regarding your child's attendance for the next year if you have not already done so. Please contact the school if you didn't receive a survey or know of a potential preschool or kindergarten student that may have been missed in the mailings. Please contact Heidi Zierott or Bruce Friedrich if you have any questions.
Cub Scout News
The Pack 360 Pinewood Derby that was scheduled for January 17th, 2010 has been postponed. The next scheduled meeting is January 25, 2010 at 6:30 pm. At this meeting, a possible dte for the rescheduled Pinewood Derby will be discussed.
Menu Change
Next Friday, January 22, 2010 we will have Hamburgers on a bun instead of the Chicken Patty and instead of green beans we will have lettuce/tomato/onion/pickles. CLICK HERE FOR JANUARY BREAKFAST/LUNCH MENU.
Science Fair
Science Fair is February 9, 2010 from 6:30-8:00pm. The backboards should all be home. Be thinking of your topic because we will need it soon. This year there are 101 students in the science fair!
Geography Bee
The Elmentary Geography Bee was held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Finalists were 4th - Jarret Mathes, Kody Kupke, and Caleb Marlatt. 5th-Hunter
Football T-Shirt Orders
The deadline for ordering football t-shirts has been extended to January 22, 2010.
Student Conduct at Basketball Games
Elmentary students should come to games with a parent or other responsible adult an dnot just be dropped off at the school. Children should be under the supervision of a parent or other responsible adult during the basketball games. Students and children should not be running and playing in the halls during the games.
Cheer Camp has been cancled and will not be rescheduled.
Fiddlin' Around
The Old Avoca (Nebraska) Schoolhouse will be hosting a Twin Fiddling Workshop on Saturday, February 13, for fiddlers (or violinists or violists) who want to learn to play nicely together with their fellow-fiddlers (or violinists or violists). Fiddlers (or violinists or violists) of any age and experience level are encouraged to enroll. Championship fiddler and fiddle book author, Deborah Greenblatt will share some tunes, hints about arranging for two fiddles, playing back-up, etc. The Workshop takes place in the historic Old Avoca Schoolhouse, in Avoca, Nebraska. Pre-registration is required, and enrollment is limited. The fee is $20.00 per fiddler. Elmwood Murdock Merchants Association (EMMA)
The Elmwood Murdock Merchant Association is a group of local merchants and interested parties who work to promote business in Elmwood and Murdock and to engage citizens in community activities. The group meets monthly on the third Monday of the month. EMMA is responsible for the 4th of July celebration in Murdock and also the Elmwood Holiday Extravaganza. Throughout the year they also sponsor other activities. Recently elected officers for 2010 are Kurk Shrader, President, Julie Anderson, Vice President, Bonnie Brewer, Secretary, and Brandon Collins, Treasurer.
