FOOTBALL BULLETIN::
I have received information that a radio station in Wayne, Nebraska, will
broadcast the Elmwood Murdock Football game against Ponca on Tuesday,
November 10, 2009, at 6:00pm. The station is KTCH 1590 AM in Wayne. I'm sure
we will not be able to receive their signal here, but they will also be
streaming their broadcast on the internet.

I thought you might have the best way to share this with local citizens who
may not be able to travel to the game. I am not certain if the game will be

Whoo Hoo!!! The Ride is Just Beginning!
To all my loyal readers,
I know I’ve only been doing the Murdock newsletter for a short while but
I have really enjoyed it. I’ve made a decision though to cut back on some
activities so I will be passing the mouse on to the new Murdock Editor…my
daughter, Millie Anderson. If you also read the Elmwood newsletter you know
who she is since she was a regular…along with everyone else I happen to meet.
We are excited about the change and she is looking forward to bringing you the
local Murdock news. And I’ll be around if she needs any help…or advice. She
said I can contribute stories occasionally. That’s nice of her. She’s only 16 but
she already is showing signs of turning into her mother. Except she’s thin, blonde,
and beautiful. (deep sigh) I hope you enjoy her perspective on the news.

interesting for you.

My name is Millie Anderson and I am the new editor of the Murdock Newsletter. My name
probably sounds familiar to you because my mom was the editor of the newsletter and I was
the feature star in a lot of pictures. My mom is moving on to bigger and better things like the
dishes and the laundry and I'm taking over her newsletter job. She will be my mentor in this so
I'll learn from her expertise. I'll keep you up-to-date on the latest news around town. Please
send me your ideas, stories, pictures, and upcoming events. I would love to help you advertise

Time to Order New Knights Shirts or window stickers!
Lt. Col. Tom Brewer, better known as Kalee's dad, came to the Elmwood Murdock
High School last week and talked to the FBLA about his upcoming deployment to
Afganistan. This trip will be different from his other deployments. This time he is
working to fight the drug trafficking problem. He will be gone for a year. We wish
him a safe trip and we plan to send goodies to him and the troops.
