Dear Residents,

The Village of Murdock is attempting to obtain financing (also referred to as grant funding) from the State of Nebraska to improve infrastructure in the community. Grant funding can help pay for important things like road enhancements, water and wastewater treatment, and community buildings and gathering spaces.

To be awarded this funding, Murdock needs to collect some basic information about the residents who live in the community, like annual income and the number of people residing in each household. The Village of Murdock is asking residents to complete this survey in order to be eligible to apply for grant funding to help pay for essential community projects.

All answers will be kept confidential and used only to help with Murdock’s grant funding application.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to fill out this survey and supporting efforts to improve Murdock’s quality of life.

What to do next:

If you receive this survey, it means your household was chosen randomly to help Murdock obtain this important information. Around 100 households will receive the survey. Please put your completed survey in the enclosed postage-paid envelope and return it in the mail by November 2, 2026.

Elm rescue fundraise 2026

Join Elmwood Rescue for our Annual Fall Fundraiser!

Enjoy a great meal while supporting your local volunteer EMS service. The meal will be served for a free-will donation, and everyone is welcome!

This year, we are raising money to purchase a new power cot for one of our ambulances. This critical piece of equipment will help us safely move patients while reducing the risk of injury to our volunteer responders.
