~He Is God~

He is the First and Last,
The Beginning and the End!
He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be ...
unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!

He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can't understand him,
The armies can't defeat Him,
The schools can't explain Him, and The leaders can't ignore Him.
Herod couldn't kill Him, The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him, and The people couldn't hold Him!
He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.
His ways are right,
His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me.
He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and He is my peace!
He is my Joy,
He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and He rules my life!
I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
the power of the powerful,
the ancient of days, the ruler of rulers, the leader of leaders, the overseer of the over comers, and is to come. And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size.
His goal is a relationship with ME!
He will never leave me,
never forsake me,
never mislead me,
never forget me,
never overlook me and
never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!
When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!
He is everything for everybody everywhere, every time, and every way.
He is God, He is faithful. I am His, and He is mine!
My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world.
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...
He said it and that settles it.
God is in control, I am on His side,
and that means all is well with my soul.
Everyday is a blessing for GOD Is!

The Lofte Community Theatre would like to announce its latest play production opening Friday, September 5th.
"How The Other Half Loves," is a high-energy and fast-paced farce written by Alan Ayckbourn.
The plot of the comedy revolves around three couples, two apartments and one torrid affair. The set itself lends its own influence to this play as there are two separate, but overlapping apartments occupying the stage at the same time. Two sofas and two alternating styles of wallpaper mirror the confusion felt by the characters as they try to figure out who is cheating with whom!
Members of the cast include Kevin Colbert of Weeping Water, Sharon Strassler Kryger and Brandy Palatas of Papillion, Robert Malm of La Vista, Silvia Conley of Omaha and Joshua Smith of Plattsmouth.
Performance dates are September 5-7, 12-14 and 18-21. All performances begin at 7:30pm except for Sundays which are 2pm matinees. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by calling the Lofte box office at (402)234-2553 or online at www.Lofte.com.

The Lofte Community Theatre will be holding auditions for "Laughing Stock" on Monday September 8th and Tuesday, September 9th at 7pm. Auditions will be held at the theater and will consist of cold readings from the script.
The script calls for nine men and five women. The plot of the story revolves around a rustic New England summer theatre that performs in an old barn. The well-intentioned company soon finds itself facing outrageous auditions, stressful rehearsals and sound cues going awry. The play is an over-the-top depiction of everything that can and usually does go wrong in community theaters!
For questions or driving directions, please feel free to call the Lofte at (402)234-2553 or visit the website, www.Lofte.com

Well known in the Southern Gospel Industry for their tight vocal blend and classic styling, The Melody Boys Quartet is committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song. When Gerald Williams joined the group in 1949 at age 16, the Stamps Baxter Melody Boys Quartet, with Smilin’ Joe Roper, filled the radio airwaves 3 times daily. They also starred in their own nightly television show in their home state of Arkansas. In 1957, The Melody Boys Quartet performed at the very first National Quartet Convention in Memphis, Tennessee; and they continue to perform on the main stage at the relocated National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, every year.
It is believed they have performed in the early years right here in Southeast Nebraska and possible at the Community Building in Tecumseh.
On October 12, 2006, Gerald Williams was inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Association’s Hall of Fame. Gerald has been singing bass for The Melody Boys Quartet for more than 55 years. His Hall of Fame induction distinguishes him as one of Southern Gospel Music’s acknowledged Greats. Beyond that, Gerald is respected throughout the Industry as a man of integrity with a true heart for the Lord. Roy Pauley, of The Singing News Magazine, has said of Gerald, “He’s without question today’s most accomplished bass.”
The Melody Boys Quartet is one of the few full-time groups on the road today that has remained true to their Southern Gospel roots. When the Melody Boys take the stage, they make every effort to fill the majority of their programs with traditional quartet harmonies, using nothing but the piano for accompaniment. And on the occasions when more instrumentation is used, the Melody Boys are committed to keeping the volume at comfortable levels.
The primary purpose of The Melody Boys Quartet is to Give the World a Smile, as they devote their lives to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in song.
Won’t you join the thousands of fans who look forward each year to experiencing a vintage taste of Southern Gospel’s finest quartet entertainment? www.themelodyboysquartet.com OR http://www.tecumsehne.com/
