Tomorrow's Producer's held their 2nd annual family dinner on June 7, 2008. This year's theme was "4-H Fiesta". The kids chose their menu of hard & soft shell tacos, beef & chicken with homemade seasoning, refried beans, shredded lettuce & cheese, chopped olives, tomatoes & onions, homemade avocado dip, salsa, nachos & cheese, fruit kabobs, sangria punch with fresh oranges & limes & for dessert, Mexican sundaes, with chocolate, cinnamon & chopped peanuts. The kids did all the cooking and prepping, set the tables and helped with all the clean up. Thanks to Mrs. Glantz for all the Mexican decorations. After dinner, the fun continued outside with everyone taking a swing at the two piñatas the kids had made. There were 41 people in attendance.

Even With High Gas Prices, Patrons Can Still Visit The Islands This Summer As Gilligan's Island The Musical Opens The New TADA Theatre!
The new TADA Theatre opens its doors July 10th with the hit comedy Gilligan's Island The Musical.
Working directly with the creators of the legendary TV show and the recent L.A. theatrical hit A Very Brady Musical , TADA Productions, Inc. originally produced the regional premiere production that garnished raves from the show's creators Laurence and Hope Juber. "TADA has done a terrific job with our show! These are great people with vision and talent!" The shows creative team was instrumental in the productions return to christen the new theatre. As an added treat, composer Laurence Juber will personally do new arrangements for the theatre's premiere that will be sent directly to TADA from his studio in L.A.
Based on the classic TV show of the 1960s, Gilligan's Island The Musical features the seven familiar characters who television viewers have come to know. Once they are shipwrecked—with numerous futile attempts to get off the island—the cast-a-ways begin a fun-filled musical adventure! The audience will join Gilligan, the Skipper, and “the rest” for a production that will leave them smiling!
Gilligan's Island The Musical's talented cast includes Colin Creveling as Gilligan, Matt Works as the Skipper, Ladd Wendelin as Mr. Howell, Cris Rook as Lovey, Becky Key as Ginger, David Claus and Scott Herr as the Professor, Sarah Smith as Mary Anne, and Donald F. Burt as a special guest on the Island. The production is directed by Robert D. Rook with musical direction by Cris Rook, scenic design by Troy Lewellen, properties and set dressings by Art Kuhr, and costumes by Mikey Coleman.
Gilligan's Island is the most rerun television show in history. It has been a series, three TV movies, two cartoon shows, a reality series, and the subject of more comedians' jokes than the mother-in-law. Gilligan's Island is an icon whose theme song is better known than "The Star Spangled Banner." There has been TV movies and specials about it. The phrases "three hour tour," "Ginger or Mary Ann," etc., are now part of our vocabulary. The first workshop of the musical was held in the early 1990s. The show debuted in Flat Rock, North Carolina, from there to Chicago, San Diego, and Thousand Oaks. Positive reviews have come in from Variety, CBS Morning News, People Magazine, and The Today Show. Gilligan's Island The Musical has everything—comedy, heart, love, drama, nostalgia and singable songs.
The new TADA Theatre is located in the beautiful Creamery Building at 7th & P Streets in the historic Haymarket district of Lincoln, Nebraska. It features a Main Stage that plays host to the musicals and full-length theatrical productions that patrons have come to expect from TADA. With close parking, a grand lobby, and amenities for patrons and actors, this intimate, crowd-pleasing theatre is operated by its parent company TADA Productions, Inc., a recipient of the 2006 Mayor's Arts Award, that will also produce the productions at the new location.
Gilligan's Island The Musical is on stage July 10-13, 17-20, 24-27, July 31-Aug. 3 with curtain times at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $18 (Thu.- Sat.) and $15 (Sunday matinees). Tickets can be reserved by calling The TADA Theatre's box office at (402) 438-TADA (8232) or on-line at www.tadatheatre.info
